What HighgroundClaims Is
HighgroundClaims is a self-service educational tool for homeowners navigating insurance claims. We are not affiliated with any insurance company, law firm, or public adjusting firm. We do not negotiate claims, provide legal advice, or act on your behalf. We provide general information and tools that empower you to advocate for yourself.
What We Collect
We collect only what you voluntarily provide:
- -Email address when you join the waitlist
- -Claim details if you optionally fill out the claim intake form (loss type, dates, affected areas, carrier, adjuster type, estimate vs. offer, stuck points, and free-text responses)
We do not collect names, addresses, policy numbers, Social Security numbers, or any other personal identifiers. We intentionally designed the form to collect structural patterns, not personal data.
How We Use It
- -To notify you when HighgroundClaims launches or has updates
- -To understand common claim patterns and build better tools
- -To inform a public playbook of general claim advocacy strategies
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with insurance companies, law firms, or any third parties. Aggregated, anonymized patterns may be used in public educational content.
Where It's Stored
Waitlist signups are forwarded to the HighgroundClaims founder via email. No personal data is stored in a database. No third-party analytics or tracking scripts are used on this site.
Your Rights Under the Colorado Privacy Act
If you are a Colorado resident, you have the right to:
- -Access the personal data we hold about you
- -Delete your personal data from our systems
- -Correct inaccurate data
- -Opt out of any sale of personal data (we don't sell data, but you still have this right)
We will respond to any request within 45 days.
How to Request Data Deletion
Email privacy@highgroundclaims.com with the email address you used to sign up. We will delete all data associated with that email and confirm deletion within 45 days. You can also use the deletion request link in the footer of our site.
